What do you do when it’s 30 below outside?

Bake bread, of course. Today, it was a wonderful whole wheat rye bread from The Enchanted Broccoli Forest. It has a lot of orange juice in it, and so I figured I would try the finished product with orange marmalade. Wonderful! Here’s hoping your cooking adventures are keeping you inside and warm this month!

  1. I stumbled on your site on http://teachonefeedone.
wordpress.com/2013/01/21/what-do-you-do-when-its-30-below-outside/ and I’m so grateful I did. I feel as though you’re reading
my mind right now. You come across as knowing a lot about this, like you authored a textbook on it
or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message
home a bit, but other than that, this is great blog.
    I will most definitely return.

  2. Thanks for your note! You’re right – I’m so bad about taking pictures of things! My students are much more talented in that regard. I’ll work on that in this next year!
