Cooking in Company

I know that often people cook for company, but I often enjoy cooking with company. Today, I had the joy of sharing recipes and techniques with my new friend Tindara from Italy. First, we made cheesecake. We had so much batter that we ended up making one regular-sized one and one “short” one. That was great, because it gave us one to taste-test. I have to say – YUM. Can’t wait to get into the “big” one tomorrow! Then I taught her my family recipe for apple pie. Darned if she didn’t turn out an awesome pie on her very first try! Will there be any left to share with our friend Jane tomorrow? We’ll see …

Tindara says I should write a cookbook. I’m thinking … cooking show. Cooking with friends. Yeah!
