Maybe “Aztec” isn’t completely accurate, but these have a taste of Central America. (I made them for our office potluck lunch today.) To the brownies, I added 1/2 t. of cinnamon and 1/4 t. of cayenne (this is for a recipe that makes a 13 X 9 pan). When they’re cool, I frost them with a mocha frosting that has dark chocolate cocoa and our home-brewed, serious coffee. Mmmm … mmm … that’s me not being able to talk because I am too blissed-out by my brownies.
